Hi, I can not identify this part/tool. What is it, jammed cartridge extractor of some kind? It's German, marked DWM, but no Waa or imperial stamp seen?

Best guess?
Some sort of gas port cleaning tool for one of the various German auto loaders, or machine guns. Other than The DWM, are there any other markings? |

Thank you for the idea! No other markings, except a four digit serial number.

Well, I was also unable to identify this part. But I am sure that it's not a gas port cleaning tool, Specially the one which is used for Machine Guns.

I have a strong suspicion that it is some kind of regulating device for a WW I German machine gun, likely an aircraft gun like the Parabellum gun. Still looking.
