Default One more prayer request

My big sis is seriously ill with a failing heart. Rae Jean is 20 years older than me and has been like a second mom. She had heart damage when she was a kid from rheumatic fever and at 20 yrs old had only the third open heart surgery that was performed in this country to replace a valve with a pig valve. That was replaced with a mechanical valve about 15 years ago. A few weeks ago we learned another valve is shot and there is nothing they can do. She's at home now but on hospice care. She's extremely bloated from edema and has a tough time getting her breath. I think she's hanging on because she worries about leaving my brother in law alone. She has always worried about everyone else but herself. Would appreciate you all keeping her in your prayers.

Praying, Mt. By His stripes we were healed- 1 Peter 2:24
She will not die, but live, that she may declare to wondrous works of the Lord. Not sure where that is, so claim it!

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

It's from Psalm 118

17 I shall not die, but I shall live,
and recount the deeds of the Lord.
18 The Lord has disciplined me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness,
that I may enter through them
and give thanks to the Lord.

The entire Psalm is worth reading through.

Praying for you from over here.

Heavenly Father, we uplift Rae Jean to you today.
She is gravely ill, and the human doctors don't have any good answers.

You designed these bodies, Lord, and know everything about them.
I ask that you would give her a touch and restore her health to her.
I ask that you would be with ROMT and all of their family and friends, to strengthen them at this time.

Lord, none of us knows her spiritual condition, as only you can see into our hearts.
We ask, father, that if she has not accepted you as Lord of her life, that she would do so. If there is anything needed to bring this about, if anyone can act as a tool to cause this to be done, we ask that you would clearly reveal it to them.

And once she has done this, Father, we know that your stripes will bring healing to her.
We know that this healing is assured, but we recognize that sometimes it is not in this life, but in the next.

We humbly ask, Lord, that you would grant her healing sooner rather than later.

And we ask all of these things in the name of Jesus the Christ - the Great Physician.

Amen -

Thank you Terry and everyone. Rae Jean is indeed saved and in fact prayed tirelessly for me when I wasn't. I believe she wants more than anything to be with the Lord, if she could just stop worrying about everyone else she has taken care of for so many years. She's more ready to go than all of us are to let her go, and of course I will miss her terribly when she's gone.

I send prayers from here, that God's Will, will be done here on Earth as they are
in Heaven. My prayers go out to your Sister and all your Family.
