Well it cost me some memories, but it was time to move on. Traided my dads Remington Mohawk mod 48 12ga, It was his first Skeet and Trap gun, had matching serial number Barrels (to the reciever) Skeet and Full. But around 1967 my older brother and his buddy loaded some too heavy shot shells and tore the reciever up. Dad sent it back to Remington, they installed a new reciever with a different Ser#, and another 11-48 with a cutts compensator nothing special. Justin at Mid * Star Firearms in Middleton treated me right. Both shot guns were in very fine condition, Justin commented on that, said he would find them good homes.
