Sure seems to be a lot of wobble or felony things listed for CA.
WHats the difference. How do you keep yourself from feeling like you gotta chew your gum right or you will loose your rights to gun ownership? I obey laws and respect most of them, but some are so unrelated to gun keeping it blows my mind, any thoughts?

thats the plan , anyway to remove your rights will be practised by socialists , remember if you dont like something you avoid it , if a socialist dont like something they must ban it from everyone ..
you think its bad there come to Australia , we aint that bad today but we where , way worse too, but we are fighting back attacking tha anti gun groups showing what they really think and want and so making them as irrelivant as possible when the anti gun loonies get upset and demand this and demand that i remind the population that if they get power the demands wont stop , they'll just be forced upon the rest of us or else .. we comply or become a enemy of the state folks wake up slowly but its working |

I lived in the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of California for about 36 years. It wasn't so bad at first but 'progressed' into a repressive state. However, I was never in danger of losing my civil rights - voting, holding public office, owning a firearm and so forth - from the conviction of any crime.
I understand the concept of 'wobblers'; a crime that can be charged as either a felony or a misdemeanor. My plan - which worked pretty well - was not to violate any of them. Would you care to share exactly what it is you fear?

Like I said, I obey and respect laws, might not agree with some, but absolutely respect them. Just wonder why so many of them reflect on your gun ownership.

In one word, liberals. California used to be so much better. When I was a kid there, fireworks were legal. Not any more.

![]() Over the many long years I have been around, conservative Republicans have always been the law and order folks. Democrats have long been mocked for being "soft on crime." Regarding laws which are hard on firearms owners we have Newt Gingritch and the GOP majority; these conservatives passed a law whereby a misdemeanor domestic violence conviction means that you can never own a firearm. ![]() Blaming everything you don’t like on the so called “liberal” conspiracy is a cheap substitute for clear, independent, thought and evaluation. |

Conservative and Liberal are your political and moral views. Republican and Democrat are Party affiliations. so please don't refer to Gingrich and the GOP as Conservative. |

Man don't bring a gun to chicago or ny. CA may be bad but I don't think it's as bad as chicago. Just traveling through on a bus if you have a gun in your luggage you can go to jail.
I wonder if you would lose your gun rights in all states if you get busted for a gun in your luggage here. You would be a convicted felon. ![]()
