Default Rumors, Rumors, Rumors

There is a "Rumor" going around that Alliant is phasing out R-15 and removing it from their line-up. Can anyone either confirm or deny this. I was going to "Ask Alliant", but their web site no-worky for me.

I have read that their new AR-Comp will be R-15's replacement?

I highly doubt it. RL15 is one of they're most popular powder. Hell I have 3 pounds of it in my reloading room. It is a great 308 win 168 175 gr powder.

AR-Comp designed for AR style rifles and has load data for about 5 calibers mostly .224 dia. bullets.

RL-15 Works with all action types and has load data for 40+ calibers with bullet dia. from .224 to 8mm.

Not a smart business move to throw that many customers under the bus to replace it with a powder they can't use.

RL 15 is not being dropped. However, we are currently out of it and
