I shot this rifle years ago but not for about 25 years now. Of course I am older, and at 71 my groups have opened up somewhat!
I am not in any competition, only trying to shoot the smallest groups this rifle will shoot.
NOTE: The rifle was always stored in climate controlled area and ALWAYS cleaned well.
Nothing wrong with the rifle.... It is me or the handloads. I am shooting the
same load I did back 25 years ago and was shooting .390", 5 -shot groups.
I know ............ I can see the smiles now.
The problem is the old guy!!
Seriously... I am trying to eliminate any problems or habits I may have picked up. I had been holding the fore end slightly when shooting, but in watching some youtube videos I noticed benchrest shooters do not touch the fore end.
My main question is ..... does it make a difference WHERE you rest the fore end?

Thanks in advance,
