Weather you have one at work or one at home. Lets see a picture of it.
Here is my desk at work. ![]() I am a computer Repair tech and a network admin. My main system is a HP compute with 2 25" wide screens. My secondary systems are both HP's hooked up to a KVM switch through a 22" Samsung wide screen. The bottom one is my streaming server and the top one is my win 7 test bed.

Work????
I don't work. I have been retired for 25 years. I guess this could be called my desk. It is where the computer sits in a spare bedroom. But work, no, not any more.![]()

Nice screen saver and excellent picture on the wall Todd. That picture fits you well. You have all the good stuff. I just hope you don't have any Barry Manilow CD's in that CD holder case.

Raven, don't ask and don't tell.
Don't judge a book by it's cover.Highboy, Barry is not my cup of tea. But you will find Bill Monroe, Del McCoury, Doc Watson, Doyle Lawson, Flatt and Scruggs, Jerry Douglas, Ralph Stanley and the list goes on. Bluregrass rules. Jack, I see you have an ice cream container on your desk. You should have jumped in on the ice cream thread.

This is really amazing. I've wondered for years about people who jump at the chance to put pictures of their gun collection, ammunition storage, safes, and so forth on the internet upon request. But this one is really enterprising. If I were a bored intelligence officer for a certain federal agency, I'd want to collect as much information as I could about the activities of potential threats, such as gun owners. So I'd sign up for a membership and ask them all to pull their pants down and take pictures of their buttocks, and post them on the internet (for example).
There are a few problems with this approach. For one thing, the people who post pictures have the idea that they are good people and have nothing to hide, not realizing that the law couldn't care less whether they're "good", or that the way the law is structured, absolutely everyone has something to hide, and probably doesn't know what that something is. Another problem is that the "real criminal", to use OJ Simpsons' phrase, is generally smart enough not to comply with such requests, so A Government Agency is really only collecting data where it's easiest to do so and will use it to create "sting" operations designed to catch easy targets. Most people, when charged, are found guilty of crimes because they made statements to the police. If they didn't have probable cause before you started talking, they certainly will once you open your mouth. Or in this case, post pictures. A man was crawling around on the sidewalk outside the bar under a streetlight at two in the morning when a cop walked up and asked him what he was doing. In a drunken slur, he replied that he was looking for his wallet. "Where'd you lose it?", the cop asked. "Oh, over there somewhere.", the man replied, flapping one hand to indicate the direction. "So why are you looking over here?", the cop asked. "The light's better over here!", he said. The law enforcement community is made up of humans. Those humans don't want to work any harder than is necessary, just like all other humans. And like humans generally, some of them are really good, some are really bad, and most are average. They like to work where the light's better.

Why live in fear of your government /?
make your Government learn to fear the people .. law enforcement ( real ones ) are people too .. when the dark days of gun control came here many walked rather than take part , then it got real bad as those ones where corrupt as heck , but the real enemy are the LEO's boss's the politico's , they set the terms of the day to day engagement you think the TSA would be as it is if Sheriff Joe was in charge ??? my government if they look at my desk will see a fair few reasons NOT to come hard .. if they look hard enough ..
