My life is an open book, ha. Gees with a military record, a public employee record, couple dozen form 4473's filed, membership in several firearms organizations there ain't a lot of dirty secrets that you can't find out about this dangerous old man. Maybe I should have put this cap on the desk just to ad spice, ha. No I am not ATF but had to send some of the fellows to Glynco, GA for some training and they brought back souvenirs. Also thought about wearing it to the local gun show but figured it wouldn't promote a good gun trade.

Let me start off by saying that I'm a firm proponent of the idea that a messy desk is a sign of genius.

OK pkcgbifaid, what the hell do you do that you have a duel microscope on one bench and a dissecting microscope on the other with 2 computers and a Rifle on the top shelf?

I hesitate to even post other pictures of my "office"... it tends to make people drool and I'd rather not have you ruin a perfectly good computer keyboard!

Yeah I didn't even show the picture to my wife.....but it drives her nuts when she sees it for real.

AND interesting thread, you learn a lot about a person from their desk, garage and maybe closets?? (don't go there??)

Well, I actually tend to sit and laugh at CSI and say "That's not how we do that!"

But yes, I am a Forensic Scientist with the bulk of my time doing firearm examinations and comparisons. I also do toolmark comparisons, distance determination testing with some training in shooting reconstruction, serial number restorations, and I have been training for the last sixteen months in footwear and tire track examination and comparison. Because of the extensive training I have had with firearms, I am also an armorer for our department and help repair and maintain their weapons.
