Default BlueTic: Bummer!

When we first opened the package containing the multi-mill last week, we thought the cover over the geartrain had been broken. Upon closer examination today, it turns out the frame that holds the greatrain and the motor is bent, too. So, we are going to have to take it back to the post office and start the nonsense to get it returned/fixed/replaced. Shouldn't take more than 6 weeks to fill out the paperwork, I'm guessing.

Took it down to USPO today, and got the answer I expected. Because HarborFreight had not insured the shipment, PO wouldn't even look at it. I sent an advisory email to HF last night saying what had happened and that I would take it to PO today. Received an email back first thing this morning asking if I wanted the return authorization to read replace or refund. That is pretty good service. I asked for replacement.

Sent an email yesterday noonish to HarborFreight asking for RMA and describing the damage. Received today, noonish, saying the RMA label is in the mail.

Give some thought to returning it, FEDEX, so Harbor Freight will have something to inspect; USPS already has a stake in this!

I thought about that, but I understand the RMA specifies how it must go.
