Default New Camera, Video Editor, and YouTube Channel

My other camera died so I bought a new one; an Olympus TG-310 It doesn't zoom in as far as the old one but it is waterproof so the rain shouldn't kill it.

The video editor that came with the camera didn't work so I had to find a video viewer and editor so I could actually use the camera. I got the free NCH VideoPad as an editor and the VLC media player to view them. They are a little buggy but I'm figuring them out.

Here is my last video; shots taken today.

Win94ae, 400 Yard Sight Adjustment

My last 3 shots taken, (other than the hit,) one taken at 350 and 2 at 400 yards were about 2.25 inches apart; this load is fantastic! Unfortunately, the scope was a bit off; I think it is adjusted properly now.

I need to find a spotting scope to use as a camera zoom, it'll need to have a wide ocular lense.

Thanks for reading!

There is a free one and one you can buy. Make sure you download the one for your operating system.

Nice set up Rifleman!
That's some great shooting with the Winchester. And please do keep those vids coming!
I personally enjoy seeing other's taking and MAKING those long range shots.
I do have a question about your scope, if you dont mind me asking? Are you using a
BDC, Mil, or just plain reticle?

It is just a $50 BSA Deerhunter scope.

The lines near the center are so small, I can't count them with my naked eye. So I just adjust for a new distance.

The circles are about a foot in diameter at the marked yardage. I'm sure there is a system to gauge distance using deer.

I like it though, it is clear and has worked well enough.

Thanks!

Apparently Rifleman, I've been overlooking some "nice" scopes!
That's about what i needed on my .30-30 when I was scope shopping, back
when.

I went to edit a video today and the program said I have 5 more days of use. It sent me to a page where I could buy 2 versions at a reduced price.

I wish the software that came with the camera could edit the video... I hate people.

*searches for another video editor*

Maybe it will revert to this version.
Softronic.com: VideoPad Video Editor 2.22
Which looks like it will still work for what I want it for.

I hope!

edit: Actually, no, it will not work for me.

I do love it!

If I didn't have this long area for shooting, I wouldn't have known the 30-30 could shoot that far.

I'm glad it works for so cheap for you... I guess I'll have to pay the $60 when I get it. :/
Maybe I can get the free one, in conjunction with other programs, to do what I need for the time being?

I just want to update this post since some things have changed, some haven't.

1, The BSA Deer hunter scope I was using failed me, as usual. The scope break-in didn't work.

2. The editing program didn't revert to a cheap version on the 15th as expected. Maybe it will or has and I just don't realize it yet. But if it stays like it is now, that is all I need it to do.
