Hello!
Can anyone tell me if the two-piece walnut grips for the Hunter/Trapper revolvers fit an early .22 Special, 9-shot, serial # 5396XX? It does not have the Rice frame. Thank you! Old Gun Guy

Old Gun,
The Hunter/Trapper was derived from the SMALL SOLID FRAME Model 1906. The 22 SPECIAL from the "larger" frame Automatic/Auto Ejecting - they will not interchange.

Mr. Hauff - I do not know whether your helpfulness is exceed by the excellence of your photos, or vice versa, but I am always glad when you post more examples for evaluation!

Hi. I have another H&R grip question. Will the grips from an H&R Model 1906 fit the Automatic Ejecting revolver? If mean the large frame version of the 1906, if there is one. The black, target logo grips.
Thanks, Ryan |
