I'm going to start working up some loads for my 270 first time reloading.
Loading for a Ruger M77 hawkey ultralight 20" barrel Starting with My once fired remington brass nosler 130 gr acubonds imr 4350 winchester large rifle primers. Imr site states 50.2 gr min to 55 gr max ( how close will this come to filling the case ) so I have an idea what a correct charge would look like? Any tips or CAUTIONS welcomed.

55 grains will come close to filling the case, if my memory serves me 63 grains of 4350 will fill a 270 case to the top.

I load the .270 for my hunting partner using the Barnes. IMR 4350 at 54.0 gr. and a Federal primer. I would suggest you locate some 210M's: I get better groups with the Federal primer.
