My friends most of us that post on this forum express great disatisfaction with our leaders in Washington and I hope that there is a huge change there in November's election. But let us not get complacent. There are MILLIONS of people who are on the dole and do not want any changes. MILLIONS who want the government to rule every aspect of our lives and intrude even more into our daily affairs. I fear that if we do not get out the vote the leadership in DC will not change and we will have another four years of the "wonderful change" that the majority was sold a bill of goods on.

I am urged to remember Mark Twain's magnificent quote; "Suppose you were an idiot and suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself." The only caveat is that it applies to 537 members of our government in BOTH parties as we have become a nation that holds party franchise above all other things including the betterment of the people.
