only hassle with those is YOU have to set YOUR stop and keep it there for the COAL

tap the adjustment down a tad and not notice and your cases end up too short ..

with something like a Lee zip trim you have a bar that goes in and wont allow the trimmer part to trim any further than the correct COAL

Ya, that is my concern. I am figuring that I can use the base of the Forester, but I can use the Lee Trimmer and that will hold the tolerance. What do you think Jack?

with the lee you'd have to wear the bar down to screw up , errors with the lee is making them too long because you had a speck of crap betwwen the bar and were it sites tight

not too short ..

a mate here made up a jig

he has a brass rod witha counter sunk steel end,

he drops this in the case and the case trimmer cant go any deeper as the end of the trimmer sits again the steel nose of the brass bar , the nose of the trimmer dont cut so it dont go deeper

but i thought it a hassle
