Default US House debates UN regulation of Internet

Have to think that if China and other "bastions of freedom" regulated the internet, places like this would vanish.

We watched it happen in Egypt during the beginning of the Islamic Spring, when Mubarak did manage to kill most Internet access for days. Might be a little harder here with more satellite communications available, but not that much more difficult.

I would think they have a complete list of all ISP's, and the time to shut them all down would be minimal. One heartbeat.
