We're shooting a Romanian made, T33 Tokarev auto-pistol. This gun is a classic of World War II and the Cold War, used by Soviet troops from 1930 until it was replaced in 1951 by the Makarov.

There are a few of us on here who love the Yugo M57 Tok. I bought several thousand rounds of the surplus ammo when it was .06 cents a round. We love them M57's! You know the Wolf Gold line of ammo is made by PRVI PARTIZAN in Serbia, right?

The Wolf guys told me they were making some of the Gold line in Tula a couple of years ago.

We have a pretty complete thread on the M57 going. If you can't find the info there for the trigger improvement, drop member Waynescyclegarage a pm. I sent him a fairly complete tutorial on how to lighten the M57 trigger. He might still have it on file and shoot you a copy. I just wrote it from memory and didn't save it. They can be made pretty dang smooth!

I had a Norinco Type 54. It was a great handgun. I traded it as partial payment for a motorcycle and I've regretted it ever since. I had a bunch of trouble finding ammo for it. I couldn't find any at all for a couple of years so I figured all the surplus was finally gone and I didn't like not being able to practice with a pistol I counted on for SD. About 6 months later ammo started showing up everywhere. Dang I wish I still had that gun. I only paid $75 for it. It was a great bargain. It was the biggest gun related mistake I ever made trading off that pistol.

I also had a Norinco Type 54. Mine was in 9mm and the magazine just would not feed the 9mm rounds. Tried to find full size 9mm mags for it and couldn't also tried the mag well inserts and could not make them work so I sold the pistol. I don't miss it at all, I do have a CZ-52 and a bunch of 7.62X25 ammo.

gdmoody-how is the CZ52? I want one and can't seem to find them like I used to them.

The CZ-52s are great tacklebox guns. Ugly as hell and utterly reliable. and looks good with rust on it.
