Default just a few of my latest projects

hey guys, thought some of you fellow motor heads would like to see what i've been tinkerin with. i just got the honda threewheeler a few weeks ago. havent messed with that one too much yet. the little trike is a pretty cool machine. it started out as your typical mini bike frame. i got some 7/8 rod and made a rear axle and welded on some bearing holders. the motor is a 5 hp honda with a gear reduction chaincase. it only does about 10 mph but it has all kinds of power. the trike in the middle is called a Tri-Sport. i bought it from my neighbor for 50 bucks and i restored it over winter. i think it turned out pretty good!

I've been looking around at the three wheelers, I've had a couple in my time. I like the 4 wheelers too, but not the price that goes with them. Haven't found anything local, 300 miles of here. Found a few up north for around $800.

three wheelers are fun as heck for a change over riding quads. its just a different feeling. i dont think the trikes are anymore dangerous than quads. people who say that trikes are deadly just dont know how to ride them.

Don't forget why we no longer have new 3-wheelers...

Our government banned them for our own good.

Another example of the government overstepping their ground and banning a product because of it's perceived danger. While all along the problem was parents buying them for their kids and allowing them to ride them without helmets and other safety gear and little training.

The media jumped on it and showed every 3 wheeler accident, injury and death they could dig up while ignoring injuries from skateboards, BMX bikes, dirtbikes and quads until the 3 wheelers were banned.

It was shown but never reported that the 3-wheelers didn't have more rider injuries than the other forms of fun. It was just over reported like the summer of the shark attacks we had a few years ago. In the end that summer didn't have any more shark attacks than previous years...just reported more often.

That has a familiar ring to it doesn't it.

The ole Village Indians here in Alaska still prefer & use those ancient Honda Big Reds around fish camp, traditional thing; good luck & cheap.
