#1 TFF/FUN SHOOT IN MISSOURI, JULY

i want you guys to bring 2 towels. one for your heads and one to wipe your gun barrels. face cloth or hand towel size is ok. not a shower or beach towel. might want to consider a set of light long pants and a light long sleeve shirt to protect from sun burn.

bobski are you saying it's 114 there now? That's a bit hot!. We finally cooled down up here. It's 71 right now.

it hit 114 today. 108 in the shade. we are the hottest place in the usa. but...clouds rolled in tonite...its back down to 80 right now. ryan, it will cool you off and it will make the mirage go away on your shotgun barrel.
and...if there is a mist, you can actually see the shot swarm going to the target, (vapor trail.) so rain is a good thing, but not lightning!

i dont know if you guys are following the reason for this heat, but its has something to do with a historic huge record breaking solar flare being watched.

Same thing going on here. Grass is waist high, but I got the lawn mower back from the shop, and I'm working on it. Roof started leaking around the vent pipe for the front bath room, and the AC is acting up. Replaced the thermostat, but it's still crazy. Sometimes I have to turn the fan to "ON" to get the dang thing to work, and then sometimes it just shuts itself down!

Its a pain in the butt but you know if we werent going anywhere everything would be working fine.

I will trade all the problems for mine. My tooth split down the middle and has been killing me since friday night. no dentist on the weekend. I will be there. Get this tooth fixed 1st thing monday.

This is the 3rd time with same tooth. Monday i am telling him to pull it. I am going to the shoot no matter what.

The bad thing is my dentist did a root canal on this tooth and I have over $1500 of my money plus my insurance money and it's got to go. 62 years old and my 1st tooth to be pulled. Had my 1st cavity at 60.

Still have the bad tooth. Go in for oral surgery tomorrow. That gives me 2 days to recuperate. I did have a wisdom tooth pulled a few years back at lunch time and was back at work in the afternoon. I had 2 root canals done on my lunch also and was back at work the same day with those.

A little oral surgery won't slow me down. I have been looking forward to this for some time now. It's all my son and I talk about the last few weeks.
