friday i'll be up to my ears in alligators prepping the houses and getting machines tuned. and, i'll be putting road signs up all over Gods creation. but trust me, its not hard to find us if you just stick to the basic roads and stay on pavement!
one thing about being so desolate. road signs are few and far between, so everyone pays close attention to them. and when someone says 95 south out of town, to W turn left.....well, it could be a bunch of miles and loads of hills before it happens, but as long as you do what it says, youll be fine. just dont blink and miss one!!!! id hate to see you drive so far just to make sure you know how to get here, but my gate is always open. your call. just a reminder.....town is 35 miles from me! we be in the sticks there city slicker! there aint no meetin' in town around here! btw, give us a buzz when you get bedded down in town. which motel you gonna be at? ryan, if you find a lat/long to my place, share it with me. my dial up cant load google earth. it takes too long. last time i checked google on a dsl computer, the pic was taken in dec 2010. i remember the day the satellite flew over. i can see my pickup along the skeet house as we painted.
my map link on my website under directions is crude, but you can use it to see intersections on W and AH and 95 and W with the little guy icon. Last edited by bobski; 06-13-2012 at 08:47 PM.. |

My son has a Mossberg 500 pump and I have a Mossberg 535 pump. Our guns have only been used once before.
What shells are best? I was thinking 8 shot am I right.

Jack I worked right across the street where they filmed John B coming out of prison. in that move. Saw the whole thing. By the way that was not Statville prision it was Collins street prison in Joliet.

8's will work. walmart 100 packs of federals, remingtons, or winchesters will be fine. bring 3 100 packs.
and bring at least 2 chokes, IC and full or MOD and full. if you have skeet, thatll work too! |

jack, the google pic blue target is right on my driveway entrance. its labeled wrong, its not bryan mo, its vanzant mo.
now....where that blue target is boxed, follow the driveway left to the cluster of homes and go straight up 1/4 mile. thats the range road. it ends where there is a small roof on the right with 3 little roofs to the right of it. thats the range. thanks for the lat/long. the lat long to the driveway in your 1st pic is good enough. thanks!

for anyone planning on coming late and didnt reserve a range card, if you want to be in the running for the 20ga press being awarded to top shot, youll need to buy one at the counter. if the games have begun, you can make it up at the end of the match or during lunch break. all 10 boxes need to be shot to win.

Google maps can't find your address for the Pigeion Farm, and Map Quest keeps sending me to Poduca! My GPS probably won't do any better! So, I'll do it the old fashioned way:
From points south…Bull Shoals & Mountain Home, Ark., HWY 5 north to Gainsville, Mo.. In Gainsville, take HWY 181 north 25 miles. Left on HWY 14, 3 miles. Right on HWY W, 6 miles. Right on HWY AH, 1 mile. ---------------- As you crest a hill, look for our sign near 5 mailboxes. The sign only goes up if you told us youre coming in advance. Turn left at (5) mail boxes grouped together on the left. Follow a private 1/2 mile dirt road to the range. Check in at the blue house first. If gates are open, the range is open and we're ready for you.

ok, latest tally....
we have 6 confirmed shooters coming, 1 card paid and issued, 5 card payments promised and enroute or waiting at the counter, 1 serious maybe from Kansas, 5 iffy's within state or from across into ark.. plus misc family members along for the ride. i invited 5 others from tff, but had no response. so, i have to plan for cameo appearences. just a kind note to my friends. targets will be ordered and sent on 28 june to the club with or without your payments in my hand. im not going to set myself up to be without targets. its the heart of the shoot. without them we are just pointing guns at the air. the supplier needs payment up front to ship, so im putting my personal cash on the line for these unpaid targets. if you no show me with promises promises to be there and then dont come, and even worse, dont order your range card and decide to shoot just 1 game and leave, im screwed. so if you say youre coming, come. if you can pay now, then please pay and have it in the mail by the 24th. it would be courteous to loose me of being on pins and needles wondering on the day of the shoot, if anyone will show up. thanks guys. btw, this is the loading press jack404 is donating. AND IT HAS THE PRIMER FEED! http://leeprecision.com/20g-load-all-ii.html Last edited by bobski; 06-14-2012 at 05:44 PM.. |
