Here are some photos I took at the JOFH (Joint Forces Open House) Andrews AFB a year or two ago.

I love the old plans, and some were not so old when i was on active duty. Had a few few flights in a PBY and Goat HU 16 E over a thousand hours in them.

I used to belong to the Confederate Air Force for about 10 or so years. I miss that great bunch of hard working folks! It just got too expensive for my budget and my new job would never allow enough time to attend air shows..
Thanks for those pictures. I think I know a person or two in them.

Nice pictures. My son and I usually catch the Gulf Coast Salute at Tyndall AFB. They didn't have it the year, funding. I might catch the Angels at Pensacola Beach, July 13, 2012.
Interesting problem with the F-22 oxygen delivery system. It was recently grounded because some of the pilots were getting oxygen deprived. According to 60 minutes a couple of pilots interviewed said that F-22 pilots have a cough, I think they called it the 22 cough. It seems like such a simple problem, but the system involves the engines. It sounds like they were getting some combustion contaimination. They have the pilots wear a pulsoximeters to monitor their blood oxygen levels while in flight. It's a nice plane but who needs it with that kind of problem. You heard any thing about it? |
