Default 37mm launcher questions

Anyone out their own one of these. Are they considered class 3 weapons. I am looking into maybe getting one depending on the laws but i do not no a whole lot about them as far as the legal side gos any help would be great.

They aren't class 3, but you can legally only fire flares or fireworks

37mm is OK to own.
40mm needs a BATF stamp of approval.

37mm is perfectly legal. We sell a number of different one at the shop and online. We also manufacture ammunition for them and ammo kits. Now the 40mm is a different story.

Thinks for the replys guys they were helpful. Now one more question. Are they worth the money in everyones opinion or would i be better off spending my money on a ak or something.

Depemds on what you want to do. Read the web page carefully to be sure the launcher will launch what you want to launch.

I have one just for grins. If you can afford it, and want it, go for it. They are certainly interesting when mounted under an AR-15 and will sure get some looks at the range.

Oh yeah, they're kinda neat on New Year's and July 4. The flares are pretty bright and not too expensive.
