I saw this in the paper this morning and thought I should share.

House Bill 495 would eliminate a requirement for CCW permit owners to demonstrate a competency requirement when they renwe their licenses a second time, and allow concealed-carry permits issued by other states to be automatically recognized in Ohio

It would also eliminate a prohibition on having a loaded magazine in a vehicle with a firearm.

Thanks Rocketman. Heard it discussed on the radio yesterday as we all drove to the range. Time to send my thanks to the Representatives.

It still needs to go to the Senate for action when the legislature returns this fall.
