Default C&R Renewal

Just got my renewal forms and it seems more complicated than the inital application. Is it really worth the trouble? I'm thiking it may be time to get off the train and go below radar.

Curly, it shouldn't be. It may be due to what is in DC right now. The C&R is pretty much under the radar. I have had mine about a year.

In my opinion it is worth the time and small amount of money. What bothers me is that many sellers, you know, gun owners, supporters of the 2nd Amendment and the NRA, seem to want to make the already onerous gun laws even broader by not dealing with C&R holders directly even when it is perfectly legal in a given situation. It's like, "Well, we know the laws but we still want to ship your 60 year old rifle to an 01/FFL so you can pay the government more money and fill out more paperwork."
That said, enough reputable dealers and suppliers exist to make it worthwhile. The ones that don't want to sell to C&Rs? I take my $$ elsewhere.
