What will happen is they will turn in all the junk and take the money to buy good working guns. Looks good on tv....

We tried this a few years ago. A friend who owned a gun shop (may he rest in peace), and some friends pulled together every part you can imagine. I kid you not, they put together stuff using duct tape, tongue depressors, rubber bands, you name it.
It was like taking out the trash, but ya got paid for it.

Heard a Chicago politician talking earlier today on Fox. The reporter asked him if more police would help. He also mentioned the non gun issue there.
The 'black' politician said more police wouldn't solve anything, because they would just wait til the police left, and then kill. He also said they could get guns and kill folks anyway. Did he say...thugs can get guns even with a ban in place?  Doesn't that summarily say the BS about banning guns, is indeed BS? Banning guns doesn't stop thugs from getting guns? Really.  I bet that brief interview will come back to bite him in the can.
