Default Barrys Bullets?

Anyone reload with these? I plan on loading some 9mm and testing them out. I am new to reloading and I do it with a tight budget and they seem to have the best prices.

IMHO Berrys are not the leaders in best value nor do they perform well in the accuracy department. Try www.precisiondelta.com or www.rozedist.com for same or lower priced jacketed bullets. I have never been able to make berrys group for nothing in any 9mm, 45acp or 38/357 loads I have tested, again just my .02, others may have found different.

I use em in .380. But they arent any cheaper than jacketed. If you want real savings buy cast from Missouri bullet or Dardas.

Wow, that's pretty heavy handed on Berrys. Let me give you the opposite view. I've been loading Berry's Bullets for a couple of years now, very good precision made bullets. I load the in 9mm as well as 7.62x39mm - the new 125 grain .311 bullet there does wonders in my CZ 527m.
They are the BEST plated bullet I've used so far. The 115 grain HBRN, http://www.berrysmfg.com/product-i14...TP_1000ct.aspx work great in all my 9mm pistols. The one that gets a bad rap is the 124 gr PHP http://www.berrysmfg.com/product-i14..._124gr_HP.aspx as with the sharp shoulder it needs to be loaded short.
Berry's Bullets has consistently provided me with a superior product in a timely manner for a respectable price. I look forward to trying the new hi performance SD bullet due out VERY soon!

I have been buying Berry's for several years. I also use quite a few other brands but mostly Berry's.

I truthfully didnt think this would be the only positive concearning Berrys. Thought maybe I was in the minority here. It seems to be a good time Berrys start adjusting their price points to reflect that of plated lead, not high quality jacketed bullets. Glad to see you have had some luck with them, but for less money, unreduced loads and tighter groups I'll stick to jacketed bullets, but hey we all get to choose, and make ourselves happy behind our own firearms.

I generally pay more for jacketed bullets, but if I really want to save money, I go to the garage and cast up a bunch of wheel weight lead bullets, costs roughly $1 for 56 bullets. Very hard to beat a savings like that.
I like Berry's, and get good results.

Yeah, you got that right, casting is the way to really have fun for less, forgive me but Berrys really grinds my gears with all their price increases lately.
