Just got mine in the mail today. Feels great in the hand, more comfortable, and the receiver fits like a glove. Looks better, no barrel band, it is awesome. Can't wait to test it out in the next couple days. The only complaint is it is a little heavier, no big deal though.
Anyone else use this stock on their 10/22? I recommend it, was $68 shipped on Amazon. Comes in black and olive drab. ![]()

My wifes custom use's a green .920 channel stock. Makes for a better fit stock for sure.

And yes, surprisingly, it fits alot better than the original syn stock. I added some Gorilla Tape to the inside of the original stock in order to have a more snug fit. Definitely not necessary with the Hogue stock, fits perfectly. The mounting screw hole was very slightly off and the barrel did not seat in the channel but I was still able to screw it in without problems while holding the barrel against the channel and the barrel fits the channel well after the screw is tightened down. Brass: Nice pink 10/22 I guess I overlooked alot of colors the Hogue Overmolded 10/22 stock is available in. |

Have a blue one for a build that's planned. Sits idle until then. Not exactly what I'd call heavy though. What little weight difference there is is small enough that if it were to be an issue, I'd better be thinking of a new hobby and hit the gym.

When I changed my 10/22 to a .17 Mach 2, I had to go with an over sized barrel channel stock for it to fit the .920 barrel. I chose the Hogue cause it just looked good, I really do like those hogue stocks.

Took it out the other day and put 300 rounds through the 10/22. The gun shot and handled excellently.
