Jack,

i have written to both of my state senators about this treaty thing. got very polite form letters back from both, guess they are more worried about getting pork barrels instead.

UN states it is the most important act they have yet done ( help disarm the US yeah thats important)

they are getting special ice sculptures made ( US tax payer picking up the tab for the ide art) and a special book made to put in all those who have worked so hard to disarm you all

so for all those who said it wont happen they can pry them from my cold dead hands

the worlds watching . let's see how tough these folks are ..

Buying any of that would take a huge box of salt. Taking it with a grain, wouldn't work out.

The United Nations…[has] declared that there is no human right to self-defense or to the possession of defensive arms. The UN…further declare[s] that insufficiently restrictive firearms laws are themselves a human rights violation, so all governments must sharply restrict citizen firearms possession…

Didn't overlook it, don't consider it to be a source that I'd take as gospel.

Looked all through the United Nations website, no luck, how about a direct link

This is their front page, not seeing anything relative.

Oh God, "say it ain't so".

I want to pick up a few more guns and some more ammo. I watch these hoodlums every night on the news shooting it up almost every night.

I kind of have my wife convinced on all this but she's never fired a gun (how ironic, I've shot for ~50 years now) and I can't quite get her over the hump to get her CCW and a carry gun for her. She has a nice home revolver....but that's not enough.

It ain't so... there, I said it and I'll stand on it. Let's just throw this out there...if by some stroke of insanity they came up with a treaty that EVERY nation agreed to (yeah, right) who here thinks that Obama would sign it, in an election year. Seriously guys, there's enough rumors flying around, don't be posting junk like this without a reputable source, not just a quote from some little known website that has SEVENTEEN followers...you gotta be kidding me, right? Chicken little and the boy who cried wolf ring a bell?

http://arizonateaparty.ning.com/prof...msg_share_post

yeah only 320,000 readers there

but dont hold ya breath for the MSM to put it forward

the two newspapers in Australia that backed and kept the gun control game silent became to two biggest media outlets in the world on UN interest free loans within 3 years , and are now not reporting race crime , gun crime by certain groups and claiming outright lies as fact

but hey if these are who you trust , go for it

and when you complain that your no longer free

tell someone who cares ..

i already been there done that and been trying to wake you folks up for 15 bloody years and got what ? called a liar for my efforts

never mind , i'm free and stayin that way

another few months and we'll have more gun rights here than you have there

I dont see why he would not do this during this election year. This guy would love nothing more than to shove your guns up your back side along with your bible more then to be re elected. Your not dealing with a sane man. He wants to be able to say i told you so. Anyway he doesn't need stinking elections to stay in power.

If you dont think he will sign this treaty you dont know what your dealing with.

And then i guarentee there is more to that treaty than meets the eye. Bone head is gona shove that treaty so far up our backsides he is gona hear us cough.

Oh yea that bozo care is not a tax. Drink up

Looks pretty clear to me by the members that have signed the letter.

I'll keep an eye on where this goes.

There's no argument that there are treaty talks going on, it's whether or not that Obama and Clinton have already agreed to sign it.

I dunno, Clinton was the one that shut the treaty talks down the last time, said they wouldn't even sit down to the table unless the treaty wouldn't apply to the 2nd Amendment, and each country had to have veto rights so we could protect our own, since the USA has been the world's largest weapons exporter since at least 2001, it would behoove us to be able to say "Hell no" to anything that we didn't like especially with the economy as it is.
