Just because people from Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia talk slow, doesn't mean that they are stupid. Actually, Jack had this video on several months back if I recall correctly, and said it was from Oz.

Besides that, we have lots more shoreline and waterways here than in Ohio. Consequently, us rednecks know our way around a boat!

You might want to check and see if those aren't Dayton boys on a visit down here!

Hey, It's just a joke, I meant no harm. I know people from the south aren't stupid. I love the south and southerners. I hadn't seen the video before. Just received it in an email.

Funny video, but no way was that in Alabama.
If it were, AT LEAST half of those ol' boys would have been wearing ugly-ass Univ. of Alabama caps!!! Seriously, I'm not even kidding about that!

Running that is hilarious. There was a boat in the family most of my life but a lot of summer evenings after supper we would just drive up to the local reservoir and park as near the boat ramp as we could and just watch the show. Better than any TV comedy ever scripted.

The first half of the video I had visions of the boat and 3 or 4 trucks floating away.

Had a friend in Houston that told me her daddy taught her that anything north of Conroe was a yankee and anything north of Dallas was a damn yankee.

I spent the summer of 88 living down in S.Texas. I witnessed something like that take place while I was there.

The tide was coming in and this guy tried to back up his boat from the beach. The scenario played out in an almost identical manner. (except NO tractors)

But, it took about eight 4x4's to get the four that got stuck trying to help.

Down here we define a Yankee as somebody that lives north of the Mason Dixon line. A damn yankee is one of them that came down here to visit. A GD yankee is one who came down to stay!

Where I used to go to a bluegrass festival every year, there was a lake there. One year, the lake was dry and the guy who put on the festivals son went way out on the lake with his jeep and couldnt get back so they came and got me in my 4 wheel drive to go get him. Well, the lake bottom was ok to drive on as long as you didnt spin a tire, but if you broke the surface you were done. It was the slickest stuff I had ever been on. I got stuck pulling the son out and 3 more people got stuck trying to get me out and we spent the night out on the lake stuck. It happens. It looked alot like that mess. We had to wait until morning to get winched out of there one by one. I have been in a ton of stuck situations.

I think they're just doing a little ribbing themselves. So don't sweat it.

Plus 1-

I know a whole bunch of out Blessed south as been cursed after people from the north moved here & began implementing all their political, socioeconomic and secular beliefs & restrictions.

Memphis, Atlanta, Birmingham, Jackson, Little Rock, Charlotte, Charleston and a whole bunch of once GREAT cities of the south have almost been completely destroyed because of the virus of progressive liberalism that came down from the north.

Even our wonderful vacation spots of Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach & almost every city on the Gulf Coast & Atlantic seaboard are suffering from this terrible disease.

There was once a nice little town called Cary near Raleigh in North Carolina. Now the old folk say the word Cary is an acronym. It stands for Containment Area for Retired yankees. Now it's ruint.

Nope! That was clearly Auburn folks. You can tell because, as usual, they underestimated the "Tide" again, and got swamped under by the "Tide". In fact, they almost got completely washed away by the "Tide". Did you see how that "Tide" rolled over them?

In all seriousness, I doubt that video was shot in Alabama. I know of no beaches here that has vehicle access.
