I used to shoot spitballs through a soda straw. That was before You Tube so there is no record (thank Heavens) of my juvenile silliness. Now folks not only make jackasses out of the themselves but post movies of doing it.

I like it! They say the youth of today are lost. Bull! Reminds me of myself at that age. i built a spear fishing gun out of surgical tubing , bamboo, and a Zebco 202. That thing was dangerous and very cool!

Ill agree with permafrost, I use to do things like that, at that kids age... but i didn't stop doing it.. I graduated to combustable powder propellants.

My big adventure was taking the shot & powder out of a #12 shotgun shell and take a broken spoke out of a bicycle wheel. Bend the wire end of the spoke into a handle of sorts and load some powder and 1 shot bb in the the adjusting end of the spoke. Aim and hold over a lighted candle until it fired. Not very accurate but loads of fun for a couple of youngsters as I recall.

Berto, we used to use the white tips of matches. You hold the nipple with a pair of pliers and screw down the wire end until it goes BANG. I taught a friend of mine how to do that in his back yard. His dad was a local cop. That tells you how long ago that was.

He will be expelled from school just for thinking about his weapons designs let alone actually making and having them.
I'm serious, if his school or school mates get a hold of this video you can stick a fork in him cuz he is done.

Those tooth picks they use to hold sandwiches together with the frilly things on the back shoot well through a drinking straw. Show them how to stick them in the acoustical ceilings.
