I have been googling around for a replacement trigger guard for a 1976 model 60. Any recommendations? Also, are post 1980 Marlin parts interchangeable? Admittedly I'm pretty green in the rimfire department, appreciate any input.

I'm not really sure as to the interchangeable parts on the older models, but you might have a look here and see what they have.

Numrich has a "new style" stripped and you can try Jack first.

I can tell you this.....
I've been waiting on a new-replacement TG for my Marlin 60 SB for, let see....about 4 months now and they still have them on back order and I think Midway does as well, last time I looked. CJ here, told me I'd no doubt be waiting on one from Marlin for about 6-9 months....it sure is looking that way as it's going. I've long since replaced the one I broke, but I still would like to have a replacement for the one that came on it. I've been wondering what the heck is up with Marlin and their problem with a replacement "PLASTIC" trigger guard!

I did notice everything available is plastic, a little bit of a downer. I guess this means I will try to touch mine up with a tig and call it good. Thanks to all for the input ![]()
