I havent tried them out in the .223 caliber (yet) and have been using soft points and hollow point on coyotes and groundhogs. At close range, the SP in .223, I'm not at all impressed!
I took a good shot on a yote out at about 200+ with the SP in .223 and it took it down but it got back up and I tracked it, as it should have bleed out!
Splats of sign everywhere on a 200 yard track and never did find it.
(gotta try the V-max in .223 and solve that issue!)
