Been rough last 2 days.

I have to report blood pressure and other things daily due too some of my med problems.Yesterday my BP was 210/190.I kept an eye on it all day Sunday and it wouldnt go down.I called the VA telecare line bout 6 pm and the nurse told me to head to the hospital.My sister and nurses said I looked really bad.I got to local hospital as the VA in Houston is an hour and a half away.I got there and BP was 275/210.They wired me up pumped meds in me and it came down some.After a battery of test they transported me to Houston via ambulance because they said I really should go.I told my sister to go home because local hospital said they would admit and would be there awhile.After some of the same test they said my white blood count was elevated quite a bit and probably due to high BP.They said I could go home but I had no way or money or anything.I had to wait and call my baby sister to come get me.I had to wait 5 hours for a ride and the only help offered there was from brother vets.I finally got home today and there was a message from the local hospital.I called them back and they told me I had pneumonia.I havent been able to talk to anyone at the local VA clinic but my Health buddy nurse told me to start taking some Meds I have to keep in case so I am on the right track.Sorry bout the rambling bitchfest but Im a lil PO ed right now and extremely tired.Trying to stay awake a lil longer before crashing.please say a prayer for me to get through this as my emphysema makes it hard to breathe as it is and the pneumonia isnt helping any.

Prayers sent! Get some rest, all you can, that alone sometimes is better than meds!

OMG! I hope they can get your meds straightened out. Thats some serious stuff there. Relax as much as you can, you'll be in my thoughts.

Pay attention to your doctors, and do everything they say. I know this forum is addicting, but you got to leave it be for a few days and get some rest. We will all be hear when you get back. Prayers sent.

Keep up the fight and get better skull! Do whatever you need to do to get the blood pressure down to a safe level....and get plenty of rest!

I am not a doctor but I watch some on TV. I would prescribe some nestle crunch candy bars with thin mint. it works for t2s, why not you? LOL

relax man. seriously. relax. I will pray for you and hope you sleep well. maybe have dreams of a nice calm 75* day on the lake with a fishing rod in one hand and a cold beer in the other. ahhhhhhhh, even I feel better now.
