talk me out of buying this colt
.45 officers acp ,black parkerized ,98% 460.00 out the door i said i would buy a colt again due to the scratching properties ,but i tried to sratch it ,and it didn't ,plus its a colt ,and it slide isn't smooth ,i guess i'm spoiled by my wilson

You're asking the wrong people for HELP, postal.
If I had the sheckles, I'd get it if you weren't inclined. Fortunately, as usual, there aren't enough sheckles to go around so we just have to drool!!!!! Besides, SoMo needs, and richly deserves, the next purchase, a good carry pistol, preferably in .40 or .45, that will fit her very lovely and dainty small hand.

ya marlin your probably one of those people that actually saves their money {lol}
it just kills me to see a homeless little gun staring at me through the glass case ,with that sad take me home look beside if I didn’t spend my allowance it would just go towards something useful for the house ,like a rug for the foyer ,or a dishwasher for my dishwasher try the .45 and the .40 see what she likes ,then go with the .45 |

ya i agree ,but man i love the look ,i remeber when i first saw them back in the 80's ,i paid 650.00 for my stainless ,i think that was around 89
i just can't buy a colt ,i think i would loose sleep |

For $460 - hold on and look for a plain Kimber Custom Classic - pref a model I without the extra firing pin block - should be out ther arounf the same price point used.
