Default woolly bear caterpillers

have you all seen any ?
i saw my first the other day. black the first 1/4" the rest brown. i guess the first 3 months of winter will be harsh

I've only seen one small one so far, but I usually don't see many for another month at least here.

I saw one a couple of weeks ago, all black. Has me kind of worried.

I haven't seen any in quite awhile, not many survive in these parts.

Saw an all black one a while back and hear, we need a good COLD winter to kill off some of the dang insects that last winter did do. As it was almost like Spring all last winter.
We need COLD bad!
