Default Against the Odds...Woman prevails with .22lr

http://www.ajc.com/news/gwinnett/pol...me-942224.html

I have referred to this incident many times since the occurrence
over a year ago......
What training scenario does anyone teach that would cover this ?
Before you jump in and say "any of them, all of them, training is
good,...." or anything like that....that is not my point....
Training/practice is good.
You never know when or how you may have to defend yourself,
despite the MANY these days telling us we must use their program, or video,
or their tactics, or their.......because it is proven and the best, and it
only costs this much........
My point is.....
to beware of someone selling snake oil.......
especially if they want your money to show you the best way
to defend your life and your loved ones......
because no one knows what scenario will happen in reality.
[this rant brought to you by the advertising and e-mails I get
guaranteeing me that their training is best and their prices are low.....
and they don't even know me....or ????]

Thugs hate it when would-be victims are armed.

Careful shot placement and multiple shots also reduces the paperwork.

Also, clean your gun after use.

Does any one teach SD for folks in wheel chairs? I'm afraid my idea is when threatened shoot first. Let some one else sort it out. My physical condition requires this response.

I wonder if you almost might have an advantage of sorts, the bad guy thinking you are in a chair and unable to defend yourself.....surprise! Am I wrong? I know its a misconception, but it seems like it may be that way. I am sure you are just as dangerous as the next guy.
