Default How old?

Lookin to find a way to find out how old a Model 999 H&R .22 cal pistol is.
Sportsman stamped on barrel, 2 pc wooden grip. Gardner, Mass. Also have serial# stamped on bottom of handle. Thanks.

The serial # is what is needed to find out the DOM! You don't have to furnish the entire #, just replace the last 2 with X's.
