I am trying to find out the year and caliber of a U.S. revolver model 61273. This is all the markings except the grips are plastic with US stamped on them.

Does it break open to load or load through a slot on right side? Chamber of a .38 will be about 3/8" diameter, a .32 about 5'16" Look for a number with letter prefix under left grip. Last edited by hrf; 08-16-2012 at 10:24 AM.. |

Gosh hrf, you would think someone would put a sticky up to explain just what was needed to ID these old US revolvers, wouldn't you.
