The Civilian Marksmanship Program sold them for years at a fair price. The ones I saw at the Anniston, Alabama store were brand new. I did not buy one because I was wanting to buy an M1 Garand at the time. I just looked at their web site and they don't list them any more.

I will keep my eye on gunsamerica for one....But for about the same or a little more money, I can get a volquartsen custom rifle...ah, so many guns so little money...
