Default Adjusting T/C Trigger

I have a Thompson Center Impact whose trigger I would like to lighten. Outside of taking it to a gunsmith is there anything I can do to lighten it? I don't know if changing a spring or adjusting a screw would make it lighter. I don't want to work on the sear.
