(CNSNews.com) – The U.S. Justice Department says it has reached a settlement with the Sacramento (California) Public Library over a trial program the library was conducting that let patrons borrow Barnes and Noble NOOK e-book readers.

DOJ and the National Federation of the Blind objected to the program on grounds that blind people could not use the NOOK e-readers for technological reasons.

Next holder will go after colors cause blind people can't see them.

but how are the blind going to benefit from this the electronic braille readers were canned by the US ( its been developed here by Vision Australia )

so you wont buy these but you'll sue libraries who provide ebooks

makes as much sense as anything your government does

lock up armish folks for milking cows and admitting they like the fresh cream from it
