Default Finished the Remington R1

Finally got the Raasco grips in and put on with the Gold grip screws. Also added the Wilson trigger for a little tighter fit. Shows the thick flange end cap. Also shows the Kimber 8 round magazine, I like the Kimber 8 round because unlike the Remington 8 round that came with it the magazine bottom is flat metal and even with the grip Magwell.

Im not a real bug fan of gold bling on any gun. but I do admit that does look pretty nice. If not for the gold inlay in the remington enscription in the left side the gold grip screws would be completely out of place.

Ya JLA I am not sure if I really like the grip screws either, they look alright but I am wondering if SS grip screws would not look better. I am also going to gold inlay the 1911R1 on the other side but my resin for the gold inlay was dried up and I have to order a new kit. $15 for the kit and $15 shipping because it is considered hazardous, so it may wait a little while for it.
