Back in the good old days, they didn't require so much BS stamping on the firearms...
heck, pre-1968, many .22's didn't even have serial numbers...
Now ya gotta have Serial, Model Number, patent stamps, location of the plant, warning label for stupid people, etc...
A gun should be a tool in the hands of a deadly weapon, not a deadly weapon in the hands of a tool.
