I read a book on the Russian Army in WWII that was pretty detailed, and it said just about every Soviet soldier who survived the war knew at least two English words no matter how illiterate he was...
SPAM and DODGE.... It also said at the end of the war the Soviets allowed each soldier to ship back home ONE carton of "goods" for his family, and while many sent back looted silverware or artwork or other stuff they stole from the Germans, many of them simply sent back home a case of SPAM... And you thought the fall of Communism was just about Coca Cola and Levis...

Turkey SPAM is the best, has the least sodium of any other SPAM and has a great taste.

And oh yeah, my wife stocked me with a WHOLE bunch of "Low-Sodium" Spam in the cupboard since she knows I like it with eggs in the morning and it's a helluva lot easier than frying bacon....LOL
I even had Spam Benedict today after church!

I am the one so far that voted i hate it and would not eat it if i were starving.
Only option i had that said i hate it but i would eat it if it were the last thing left. Have to heat it up tho. They make hot dogs too. Seent them in the wally world

SPAM - chopped pork shoulder and other strange meats, was started by Hormel in 1937. In 2007, the 7th billionth can was sold. On average, 3.8 cans of SPAM are consumed every second in the world (however, I don't think much is consumed in the Middle east).

I once got sent to Austin, MN to do an investigation for another guy who was in the middle of something else, and stayed at the Holiday Inn which had the whole lobby done up as a "Spam Museum."
Except that I had to drive by the plant every day for a week and the whole AREA kinda smelled like that gelatinous crap that USED to be in every can but doesn't seem to be so much any more. But it ALMOST made me swore off it...ALMOST

I agree with Jerryboy, turkey spam is the best. I don't eat it at home very often, but it goes to deer camp every year.

Even though it is some kind of industrial waste product, I have it 'once in a blue moon.' It's good in mac 'n cheese. Bad mac 'n cheese. I wouldn't dare eat it with good mac 'n cheese.
