The motel in Meridian ID is about 2130mi......
the motel in Kansas City KS is about 738mi...... the motel from Dalton GA [exit 336-I75] about 8mi..... just depends [and some of the old farts really should have been wearing them] on which motel you wish to stay at.

Yeah. youd have bore the brunt of one long ass trip Jim. Beck and i logged just a shade under 2000 miles round trip including all the driving around we did while we were there.
I know weve had some long haulers come down for TX meet earlier this year. T2S drove down from Sioux Falls SD. I know that one had to be one heck of an ass numbing trip. You'll see me make that reference alot. its really the only thing I HATE about driving long distances.. We left Dalton GA at about 21:15 GA time yesterday evening, we stopped for gas in Steele AL at 10ish were trucking thru Tuscaloosa AL around 11ish. My butt was asleep from Tuscaloosa clean into coonass territory before we stopped for gas again..

Hey i gotta give it to the seahawks. Marshawn Lynch is a beast, our defensive line wasnt ready for that monster and the seahawk defense was relentless. They played a rough game and my cowboys were outmanned out there tonight. It sucks and im bummed about it, but on to week 3.. Bring on the bucs.

Im all for that. I like JJ as much as the next guy but it would make me grin to see him get his clock cleaned by a 330 pound lineman.

Let's get off the subject of Fooseball and back to whatever! I only had 80 pictures on om camera. Ozo, I'm glad you had a good clear one of the singing cause none of mime form Saturday night were clear. It could have been that little tiny sip of Dan Bailey's Peach Lightening that I had (but I doubt it).
Here are some of the fine folks who did make it: Here is Mr. & Mrs. Ozo, Jan and Jona ![]() Mr. & Mrs. JLA, Beck and Josh ![]() Mr. & Mrs. Double D, Betty and Dan ![]() Mr. & Mrs. Carver, Laura and Myles ![]() Here is Shooter45, Sam talking with Double D. I think they got all the problems with the World worked out. I never did get a picture of Sam and Jan together. ![]() Here is Josh, Beck, Woodnut (Carl)] messing with Ada, and Laura on the right. Never did get a picture of Carl by himself. ![]() Songman, Dale ![]() I think that is all of the TFF Member who were there, except me, and I am the one in that bright red Hawaiian shirt in Ozo pictures.

There was a fishing tournament, I think it was mentioned before, the only person who entered the tournament was Josh so he won by default. Here is the winning catch:
![]() Here is a picture of Josh doing a knot for that special lure that he was hoping to catch a Black Labrador. The lure did not work, the Labs quit biting right about then. This is what he was going after what that special lure: ![]()

A couple more and I will quit with the pictures.
Here is a picture of the shrimp boil, just after the shrimp was dump in with the already cooked red taters, garlic, onions, smoked sausage, and corn on the cob. If you like food that will cook your lips (with pepper), you would have loved this stuff. I told my grand daughter about it and she wished she could have gone. ![]() One last shot, I won't tell who this is but I caught someone playing with his meat: ![]()

Yup, I'm quite often passing that direction. Office is just 4.5m south of DFW. So if Josh were busy, I'm could handle the driving. Oh, and how 'bout them Hawks !!! Now I'm just waiting for the Giants to come to Dallas, that's gonna be a clash ! Great job on the pics and documenting of the BBQ George

I'll put some more up in a day or so. You know Myles and Carl will put up some when they get home. Carl always does a pdf "storyboard".
By the way, this little get together did not cost any TFF member a penny, except what they spent on themselves getting there and back!!
