Yesterday I received a Lee challenger reloading kit.
I purchased of e-bay saved about $25.00 off current prices, thus the new reloading room in the garage. ![]() |

wife found me another plastic strainer basket/colander at the thrift store (it's a standing order anytime she might come accross one, she is to buy it!) for sorting brass and whatnot. 49 cents baby, what's up

I've got probably at least 15 of them, I use them to sort brass, sift out cleaning media, organize brass, even bullets, they work better than most 'special purpose' gizmos you buy from Dillon or whoever.
Can't bring myself to pay full price for them new, so anytime I hit a thrift store, I bee line for the cookware section and scrounge any of the colanders. Sometimes you can even find metal ones! Today, it's reclaim shot, 100lbs.... oh, and a bag of CB 7/8oz wads for $10.50

I bought a box of 62 grain Berger .223 bullets, a box of 95 grain Sierra JHP 9mm Makarov bullets, and a box of 100 grain Sierra FPJ 9mm Makarov bullets.
BUT, best of all, I put a Browning 1911-22 on "layaway" until I can pick it up on Tuesday.

48 hours ..... I bought 4 new 30 round Pmags for the AR.
Over the weekend i purchased a 500 S&W in a NEF handi rifle, and put one in 243 in layaway for the gf for xmas. Monday went to Cabelas and bought some powder that was on sale. So far it has been a good week! |
