I bought 2 guns on an on-line auction yesterday.
I got a Baikal IJ-70 (Makarov) in .380 for $120 and a CZ-85B NIB for $260. The CZ is a sort-of odd caliber 9 x 21, which apparently was sold in Europe. But I can buy a 9MM Luger barrel for it for $145. I am happy with both. |

Well I bought a game camera today (I guess that's sorta gun related), and all sorts of ammo 2 days ago from Federal Ultramatch .22 to some PMC .223. But the biggie was the safe I finally got around to picking up. It's a Liberty Fatboy Jr. which I got a very good deal on. I'm happy. I'll be more happy when they deliver it and set it up for me. Yes I know it's not the best safe on earth. But I'm home most of the time so my only real concerns are fire and flood which is a very remote possibility (the flood part) where I live. Mainly I get to tell the insurance guys that my stuff was protected and it isn't my fault someone stole it anyway. If it burns then I'm guessing that will be the least of my worries. I'd have to build a safe as big as a barn to protect everything I want to protect. Then I'd have to live inside and it would probably burn from the inside out.

550 once fired 9mm brass & projectiles to match, 30 .303 brit brass, 30mm ammo can, and a High Standard Sentinal .22 revolver. I've had a good week, by my standard...

Hey Firefighter, I'm happy for you, looks like you got a sweet AR and case there!
Get some more Pmags, they are all I use now; work very well and are priced well.

I just brought home the newest family member, a mossberg 715t .22 rifle that looks like an AR. Thing is so cool looking, and is quieter than my 10-22.

Just picked up 2 cases of Winchester 12 gauge #8's at Cabelas on sale. That should last me about a month.

Box of 9x18 Fiocchi 95 grain for my pa 63,and traded a titan 25 for this and got boot cash.
Yeah I know its cheap also a 22.For pot metal close range its ok,like all rhoms reloading isnt swift even though it has an ejector.Extremely small, nickle in the pics. Can now use up that cci ammo that wouldnt even cycle the slide on my PT22. ![]() Last edited by lilmule; 10-20-2012 at 06:37 PM.. |

Okay...I didn''t buy this, but here's the story.....
Back about January my son and my grandson (he's 4 at the time) went squirrel hunting on my farm and they were successful in shooting a squirrel. My son is a member or the North America Hunting club and sent them a picture about it,,,,,they sent him back $150.00 for the picture and his story. My son saved the $150.00 till today to get my grandson all he would need to stay warm with me in the deer blind this year (I volunteered, and I will cherish it!) So, here is my grandson, fully outfitted with a BB gun (I gave him) for this years hunt. BTW, my dad (87 years old, myself, my two sons and this grandson will all be going this year..... 4 generations) Tell me......does it get any better than this?

I was at the gun show over the weekend and found a military Makarov. It's marked Model PM, fixed sights, it's not the commercial model, but it was priced at the low end of a commercial model. It is in excellent shape too.
