I have "7". So, if I want to edit my photos I open up Windows Live Pic Gallery. Click the "Edit" menu then find "resize". You will have several pre existing sizes; and you can also "customize" the size you want. Vista, 98 & other Windows operations work very similar. - |

Download a copy of Photofiltre - it's freeware and will do a fine job for re-sizing pics.
You can get it here: http://photofiltre.en.softonic.com/ |

And tcox4freedom has a good point, if you don't have Live Essentials installed, they can be gotten here free: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...ssentials-home Hope this helps |

As already mentioned, you can use the Windows Live Gallery to resize pics if you've got a vista/7 machine.
I still use Irfanview for my all-around photo-viewer/utility program. Most of the time it's what I use for little edits like resizing. Lots of features and it's a freebie too. www.irfanview.com Photofiltre that WHSmithIV posted looks like an intriguing little program. I will have to check it out. For bigger editing jobs, I use either Photoshop or PaintShopPro but those are commercial. |

Beth: Start>All Programs>Accessories>Paint
Then Open> your Photo I just had to check that out, as I haven't used paint since Win'95... that's come a long LONG way! And Bindernut is right, I wouldn't recommend the average user run out and buy Photoshop... |

I use a photo-hosting site. Mine is photobucket, but there are are others out there. Sometimes I have pix that, when I upload to here from my confuser, they are huge, but if I upload them to photobucket, and then link to them, they are the right size for a website.

Microsoft Office Picture Manager Came with Office 2007 and 2010. Not sure about 2003. Very easy to use.

Took a few seconds to size your photo.
