Default Winchester model 62

Hello
I just came across My Wifes, Grandpa's rifle.
It is a Winchester model 62, serial 7275.
I would like to find year it was made.
The stock doesn't look original, it is not all the way on the gun,
and does'nt look original.
I plan to have a Gun Smith check it out.

Thank You for any info.

Hello Steve,

Early July 1932. Can't comment on the stock without seeing pictures of it.
