Default Which Scout Scope Mount For MN M38?

Hello All,
Due to my old eyeballs the time has come to put a scope on my Mosin Nagant M38 ("Thumper.") I wanted a scout scope mount for quick target acquisition and not needing to replace or modify the bolt. I am down to either the S&K with the S&K scope rings or the Brass Stacker. Both seem solid and the Brass Stacker you can use the iron sights in a pinch, but it seems to sit high. The S&K looks solid, but requires the complete removal of the rear sight. Does anyone have any opinion/experience with either? The price is within $15-$20 of each other so that isn't my concern. Thanks in advance!
MSM

Price for the S&K with S&K rings from the S&K website at $80.50.
BrassStacker without rings $63.00 from Amazon.
