I have a german starter pistol. It is a model s, with a 6 shot slide clip. It also has a pick on the butt for clearing the clip. On each side of the grip there are brass disks that are inserted in the grip. It appears that some sort of insigna may have been attached here and were removed or have fallen off. Does anyone have any idea who made this gun or how old it may be. It looks like a smaller version of a PPK pistol.

It's hard to determine value on an invisible pistol. We can help you but you make the effort to post a couple of pictures. |

These are pictures of a Modell S German starter pistol. It has a pick on the bottom for removing the shells from the 6 shot clip. It would appear that some sort of insignia was on the handle but may have been removed or lost.
It was made in Germany. There is no manufactuers name or serial number on it. Does anyone have any idea what the make , age or value of this starter pistol would be. |

Value is negligible, maybe $10 or so if someone really wants a blank firing pistol. AFAIK, the little blanks are still available, but I haven't seen any in years.
